                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF VARIOUS STREETS IN THE GLENWOOD
                   AREA MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN ON
                   THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 1990 FROM 6:30 P.M.
                   TO 8:00 P.M. FOR "THE VERY SPECIAL ARTS
                   FESTIVAL RETRO RUN" SPONSORED BY THE ORANGE
                   GROVE CENTER UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Chamberlain Avenue between Orange Grove
       Center and 3rd Street, Derby Circle from 3rd Street to Derby
       Street, Derby Street from Derby Circle to Oak Street, Oak Street
       between Derby Street and Glenwood Drive, the southbound curblane
       of Glenwood Drive from Oak Street to 3rd Street, Glenwood Drive
       between 3rd Street and Wyandot Street, Wyandot Street between
       Glenwood Drive and Parkwood Avenue, Parkwood Avenue between
       Wyandot Street and Chamberlain Avenue on Thursday, September 27,
       1990 from 6:30 P.m. to 8:00 P.M. for the presentation of "The 
Very
       Special Arts Festival Retro Run" under the sponsorship of the
       Orange Grove Center provided that the sponsor shall set out
       traffic cones, flasher barricades, and warning signs in 
accordance
       with the traffic control plan attached hereto and shall provide,
       at at times, an access lane for fire and other emergency 
vehicles.
